ELL-It was a grand day!
MattM-It actualy was a rather narrow resevoir, but I am fond of that shot too. Was at the beginning of the trail that we THOUGHT went all the way around but being so early in the season it wasn't cleared upbut about a 3rd of the way. We had to turn back after about3 hours.
Ms.-The lighting is tricky in the woods but the sun co-op'd for a few shots!

I love trillium and never get to see any. I used to play in a 'field' of it on a hillside where I grew up. I miss the woods.

Stand under tall trees and looking up up up... and being on a beach looking over the ocean... both make me feel small and so alive~~
Oooo....trilliums! I've never seen them in the wild.
And that shot you took of the goose flying through the trees is awesome. I want to paint it!
