Little Pee-pee

It has been a crazy week at the old Post Office!
Who knew "light duty" could be so mentally exhausting....

I go in and case up my route for someone else to carry or break it up into a million different sections for others to deliver as they find time in the day. I hate doing this but hopefully my peeps will have me back in 3 or 4 weeks. I can't WAIT to get back outside!
I am grateful that I have plenty to keep me busy during the day in the office though....Really I am!

Many projects that never seemed to get the full attention of anyone but are sorely needing to be wrapped up have been helping this caged bird's day fly by a little faster. I have a gut feeling the postmaster [one of my former managers and someone I consider to be an old friend] also has something for me to work on if I find myself able to dig out of the "to-do" list Lucipher has given me. This would be a delight to me to be sharing space with him. I miss him being my "boss".

I put in a full day and so far once a week go to therapy to work on my range of motion and strength. I adore my PT Kat. She is the tiniest little thing that has the hands of a goddess. I of course enjoy the massage the most but she put me on a bike Thursday and it was actually fun! Yes I know it is baby steps and no time soon will I be going anywhere fast... but I feel accomplished!
I had a sad realization on my way home from work Friday....
The Eugene Marathon is fast approaching and I will
not be able to sign up and partake in the run.......

BUMMER!

[oh well it's not like I would has participated anyhow but I now KNOW this year I won't be running]

I have been working in a small office within ear shot of the front windows and have gotten little smiles from over hearing some of my route customers asking the window clerks "Where is Cheese? Is she EVER coming back?". It warms my heart and the clerks come and get me so my "fans" know I haven't died or run off to Mexico with Paco for a taco.
[Not that I wouldn't if he happened to ask!]
I sometimes get a hug and I myself get an inner smile to see their faces. I miss my peeps!
One of my dear little ladies came back later in the day and gave me this.

Doesn't everyone need a little peepee??
That's what she called it!
The clerks BUSTED out laughing and it now

holds a prominent place on my desk.

Have a safe and lovely Easter weekend my friends... I myself will be heading north to my boy's house for the new traditional Easter BBQ with the family and friends.
Hey he is 28 and loves to BBQ...and I wont have to cook!
Going to make a blueberry dessert tonight for the feast so maybe later I can share some pics.
Off to work I go!

Who knows..
maybe later this week I can even score a BIG peepee???
