Annie and Cassity are the keepers of the porch.. It cracks me up to peek out the window to see them on patrol.
All love their new home except for Squash. He has yet to spend more than 5 minutes in the house before he starts to wail. I am afraid he has decided to become a barn cat. I miss snugging with him..
Maybe in time.

I had some very brown nanners so ~Sunday I baked! I relished in the aroma of banana bread wafting through my new home. It was special.

The baby bears all got a bath on Wednesday. I, alas, have yet to break in the tub.....maybe soon lol
I am pretty much down to unpacking pictures and books. I am scared silly to put the first hole in the walls.
Stopped and got an inexpensive bookcase for the over flow.... took a bit but dammit I did it all by myself! Doesn't look too bad for only $25 !!!
Little by little I am getting my office area settled. I got all my SF trinkets lined up first so I can gaze and remember some fun little moments together.

Holy cow.. more pictures...... It's funny how many I had hanging in the old house. Made the paneling bearable!

A Note from Work.....

Just wanted to let the 2 or 3 of you folks that are still following the fiasco of my building adventure that -yes- I am still alive and kicking. I have most of my belongings IN the house and starting to unpack. It sucks I have to work all day-lol- as I am not getting much done in the evenings. I have a bazillion pictures to post and a few tales to weave but alas I can't use my thumb-drive on my work puter and I haven't really dug out my desk yet so...

soon babies... real soon......

Stuck

Saturday was move in day!
I had the breakfast snacks lined up
I had pop and milk and juice and pizza!
I had clean puppies in the new house
I had a tub allll ready to be broken in
The main bath was decked out

I also had a stuck moving van.
They Finally got it towed out around 2...
They are coming back Sunday with plywood planks to walk on to the driveway where a smaller truck will be loaded and wont sink lol

It's official... the TP is hung

Curtains are up
All walls but one are painted [waiting for contrasting brown paint to arrive]

All appliances are in working order

And puppies liked their new room...

They got to be the first to sleep in the new house... NO FAIR!

Hopefully by the end of the weekend the finishing touches on paint are finished and the carpeting is finished. Construction cleaning crew on Monday or Tuesday and MAYBE moving commences on Friday!
